Leslie Mullican is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker and is bilingual (i.e., English and Spanish). Leslie assists in completing pre-surgical clearance psychological evaluations and provides counseling in various nursing home/assisted living facilities for Carewright Clinical Services.
Leslie earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work through the Texas A&M University of Central Texas where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. She also served as an officer for the Phi Alpha Honors Society and the School Association of Social Workers. Leslie then furthered her education by completing her master’s degree in social work. Throughout both her bachelor’s and master’s internships, Leslie gained experience working with patients experiencing substance abuse relapse/prevention, anger management, and various other mental health comorbidities. Additionally, she gained experience with crisis interventions, risk assessments, and treatment planning using evidence-based interventions. Leslie’s work history has also given her therapeutic experience conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions for children from the ages of 11 to 18 from varying cultural, class, gender, race, age, disability, and sexual orientation populations.
Leslie’s special interests are in Trauma-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Systems Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
