Licensed Psychologist/Supervisor

Dr. McCarty is a Licensed Psychologist who continued working for Carewright Clinical Services after completing her post-doctoral hours there. Dr. McCarty provides psychological services in various nursing homes/assisted living facilities and helps supervise counseling interns.

Dr. McCarty completed her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma City University and earned her master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology at Alliant International University in Fresno, California. Dr. McCarty was trained in psychodiagnostic assessments, consultations, individual counseling, and group counseling.

Dr. McCarty completed her internship at the Portia Bell Hume Center in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she had an adult outpatient therapy rotation and assessment rotation. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Carewright Clinical Services, where she was trained in pain assessments and neuropsychological assessments.

Dr. McCarty’s areas of interest/specialty include geriatric psychology, dementia, anxiety and depression, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.
