Clinical Provider/Supervisor/Consultant
Dr. Parker is a licensed psychologist, licensed specialist in school psychology, and nationally certified school psychologist. She provides an array of psychological services for Carewright Clinical Services. Dr. Parker’s services include intern supervision, pre-surgical psychological clearance evaluations, nursing home supervision of practitioners, individual counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultation services.
Dr. Parker has an extensive career spanning more than two decades. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She has worked in a variety of settings including as an adjunct instructor at Arkansas State University, conducting federal grant evaluations, program compliance, and evaluations, psychological service provision in nursing home (geriatric) settings, administrative roles in public school settings, evaluation and IEP planning, school-based assessment and interventions, behavioral interventions, and special education compliance.
Dr. Parker has been trained in special education law, school-based assessments, individual and group counseling services, prevention services, crisis intervention, supervision, geriatric service provision, Autism Spectrum Disorders, medical clearance evaluations, court-ordered juvenile assessment, administration, systems analysis, veteran affair disability assessments (mental health) and employment/security clearance assessments. She is a certified NOVA and CISM crisis, responder. She received the Texas Association of School Psychologists Doctoral Level Outstanding School Psychologist Award in 2020. She was previously Director of Training for an APA-accredited and specialist-level internship.
Dr. Parker’s areas of interest include education law, disability law, systems models and change, supervision, neurocognitive assessment, and prevention/intervention services.
