Jacqueline Herrera, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Herrera is a bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed psychologist (LP) in Texas, New Mexico, and PsyPact states. She completed her undergraduate studies at Fresno Pacific University in California. Dr. Herrera earned a master’s degree in educational counseling and clinical psychology and her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. Her training integrated family systems, diversity, and spirituality in a clinical setting.

Dr. Herrera completed her APA-accredited internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where she furthered her training in personality, behavioral, and neurological assessment. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Clarity Child Guidance Center, a psychiatric hospital for children. Dr. Herrera specialized in working with children and their families through psychotherapy and clinical evaluations.

Dr. Herrera provides an array of psychological services, including psychological evaluations, disability evaluations, and medical clearances. She provides psychotherapy to various populations, such as first responders, families, and children. Dr. Herrera provides supervision to interns and postdoctoral fellows working with children and adolescents. Areas of interest include process-oriented psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. Dr. Herrera is on the board of the San Antonio Psychoanalytic Society and a member of the American Psychological Associates, Divisions 36, 39, and 52.
